Based in the heart of Southam, here at The Bowling Green, we’re proud to be your local of choice. As an idyllic country pub with a difference, we offer all who visit a comfortable space in which to unwind, socialise and enjoy the finer things in life. Our hearty and traditional food is quite often the talk of the town and, with a selection of drinks unsurpassed by many of the area’s other pubs, it’s not hard to see why we’re favoured by so many.

As such, most of you are as familiar to us as family, so it’s with great pleasure that we’d like to announce that, with your help, we managed to raise a whopping £430 for the Anthony Nolan Trust over the Christmas period.

The Anthony Nolan Trust

The Anthony Nolan Trust is a UK-based charity dedicated to supporting people affected by blood cancer and blood disorders. The charity is focused on finding stem cell and bone marrow donors to help those in need, raising vital awareness of blood conditions and carrying out crucial research into those all-important treatments.

We were made aware of this charity due to one of our younger members of staff currently undergoing treatment for leukaemia and opted to make this worthy cause our charity of choice for our annual December fundraising efforts late last year.

Raffling off a fully-stocked Christmas Hamper in order to raise funds, we’re delighted that so much money has been collected and have been blown over by the contributions of our staff and customers alike.

In the season of goodwill and cheer, it’s so heartening to see the generosity and kindness of everyone who donated.
